Getting started

SmarterHealthAI is a community and information site for patients and caregivers who live with chronic and serious health conditions. It covers many conditions, for example heart and vascular disease, cancer, diabetes, neurological conditions, and kidney, liver and lung disease.

You can read most information without an account. You must log in to join groups, post, comment, send messages and see other members.

The main menu

The menu at the top of each page has these items:

  • Learn: information about health conditions, by category.
  • Hospitals: the hospitals directory.
  • Professionals: the directory of physicians and other health professionals.
  • CarePods: private spaces to coordinate care with family and friends.
  • Community: the community groups.
  • Resources: events, jobs, the Marketplace, the video library and organizations.

When you are logged in, a person icon shows at the top right of the page. Its name is Mine. It opens your feed, your questions, your messages and your settings.

How to reset a forgotten password

  2. Select Forgot your password?
